Celebrate community at the annual Far Eastside Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25 at the Community Alliance of the Far Eastside, 8902 E. 38th St.
The festival will feature free food, a community art project and a video game bus. There will also be horseback rides, a roller skate rink and basketball tournament.
Families can also get ready for the new school year. Free backpacks and school supplies will be available. Family Express Care Clinic will offer school vaccinations and $20 sports physicals.
At the event, former Cleveland Browns wide receiver David Bell will host a skills challenge. Bell graduated from Warren Central High School in 2019. He went on to star at wide receiver at Purdue University, being named Big Ten Wide Receiver of the Year in 2021, and was drafted by the Browns in 2022.
