Community members are invited to trade plants at a free event at the Fort Ben library in Lawrence. 

The event is from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 16. Attendees can bring plant cuttings, seedlings or seeds to exchange with others. 

Patrons can also pick up seeds from the seed library. All Indianapolis Public Library branches offer free packets of seeds. A library card is not required. More information about the seed library can be found online. 

Registration for the plant exchange is not required. The Fort Ben library branch is located at 9330 E. 56th St.
