Chase Huotari, superintendent of Franklin Township schools, will hold a public presentation on June 23.
Huotari said he will discuss “budgetary basics” related to enrollment projections, property tax reform and other funding updates. He’s also expected to provide facility and programming updates.
The southside superintendent made headlines last year after supporting Google’s proposed data center in an attempt to secure more tax dollars to boost school services. Many residents opposed the data center project, which was withdrawn by Google before city-county councilors voted on it.
The Franklin Township Civic League will host the meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 23 in their building at (Franklin Township Informer) 8822 Southeastern Ave.
