Build connections, receive resources and grab winter supplies at the Southside Community Resource Fair on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Patchwork Indy, a nonprofit that supports refugees and immigrants, will host an indoor and outdoor fair to connect residents with financial, legal, health care, child care and transportation services.
In preparation for the winter season, community members can also select coats, gloves and gift cards on a first-come-first-served basis.
Additionally, attendees can also help inform future southside news stories. Mirror Indy will set up a booth at the event so you can share ideas for southside news that you feel are underreported.
We know the news can be bleak. So, we want to hear all of your concerns and worries, as well as happy moments and success stories. No idea is too big or too small.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet multiple Mirror Indy staff, including me, the southside reporter; Sophie Young, our service reporter and Emily Worrell, a freelance editor for Indy Documenters.
If you go
