Indy Reads, the southside nonprofit bookstore that also provides adult literacy classes and workforce training, needs volunteers to prepare fundraising letters for its final campaign of the year.
“This mailing party is a great way to connect with Indy Reads and to ensure that our vital adult and family programming remains tuition-free for all,” according to a statement on Indy Reads’ social media.
Indy Reads’ mailing party will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Indy Reads, 1066 Virginia Ave.
Community members can stay the entire time or come and go as needed.
Mirror Indy, a nonprofit newsroom, is funded through grants and donations from individuals, foundations and organizations.
