The White River Float will go through portions of the Butler-Tarkington, Rocky Ripple and Riverside neighborhoods. It’s open for ages 12 and older and costs $30.

While on the float, you will hear about efforts to restore the White River and read and discuss environmental writings. Afterward, sit around a campfire and enjoy a provided lunch and snacks. Upland Brewing Company beers will be available for participants 21 or older.

Participants will meet up at the Parks Alliance of Indianapolis, 3001 N. White River Parkway Drive W. and shuttle to the Rocky Ripple Town Hall.

All rafting materials will be provided, including life vests and oars, but you’re free to bring your own.
