Bring a blanket and crafts June 20 for the Indianapolis Super Picnic Social.

The event aims to help people get outside and make new social connections. It’s spearheaded by FIND FUN INDY, an organization that helps people ages 18 or older to build new relationships in cities across the Midwest.

There will be different events, such as giant pong, a cooking demonstration and speed friending — a version of speed dating that allows people to meet new friends.

  • 9 a.m. – Yoga in the park
  • 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Picnic, crafts, yard games, and music from Fred Miller
  • 10 a.m. – Group speed friending
  • 11 a.m. – Farmers market scavenger hunt

Attendees can bring foldable chairs, board games and craft projects. Pets are welcome on a leash.

The Indianapolis Super Picnic Social will be June 20 at the Garfield Park Farmer’s Market, 2345 Pagoda Drive. Tickets are $15, plus an online processing fee.
