How do you plan to reach out to constituents about what their needs are?

I will connect with constituents by canvassing door to door to better understand their needs and be accessible through social media and email. I also attend community meetings and events.

What is the top issue facing your district that you think you would have the power to address as constable?

The top issue I can address as Constable is running the office efficiently by providing timely and professional service while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

What role does a good constable play in township government?

A good constable employs a staff of professionals who provide the efficient professional service of court documents while treating everyone how they would want their own family members to be treated.

One issue we hear consistently is that people aren’t properly served. What efforts would you make to serve legal paperwork to people?

This is unacceptable. I would make sure standards are set and put a system in place to track each service to ensure accountability. I would attempt service at different times of the day and be persistent to ensure proper notification is made.

How would you vet deputy constables?

I would conduct background checks and prioritize applicants with law enforcement or relevant experience. I will seek recommendations and thoroughly review work histories throughout the hiring process and hold deputy constables to the highest standards of accountability.
