Shreve served two terms on the Indianapolis City-County Council, representing District 23 from 2013 to 2016 and District 16 from 2018 to 2020. He ran for mayor in 2023 and lost.
He also served as a delegate at the 2016 and 2020 Republican National Conventions. Shreve founded Storage Express and sold it for $590 million in 2022.
