How do you plan to reach out to constituents about what their needs are?

My deputies and I are always available to meet with constituents in person during open court hours or by phone after court hours. We are always available to answer questions or concerns.

What is the top issue facing your district that you think you would have the power to address as constable?

My office works with plaintiffs, defendants and attorneys to make sure all parties involved in a case are provided proper service in a timely manner.

What role does a good constable play in township government?

A constable is responsible for assisting the small claims court judge with the orderly operations of the court. Also, the proper service of all court orders while treating all people with dignity and respect.

One issue we hear consistently is that people aren’t properly served. What efforts would you make to serve legal paperwork to people?

From my experience most people do get proper service. We strive to follow the law and do our best to get proper service accomplished.
How would you vet deputy constables?

Background checks and proper vetting, interviews; most deputies are former police officers that I personally know and worked with.
