Dear Indy,
The city kicked off its Road to Resources program Tuesday at Rhodius Park in West Indianapolis. The effort will offer resources from multiple agencies to improve safety and infrastructure in three neighborhoods chosen based on crime and infrastructure data.
City officials hope the program will grow from there.
“What we want to learn from neighbors is what they consider a healthy, thriving and safe neighborhood,” Brittany Crone, director of community outreach for the Indianapolis Mayor’s Office, told Mirror Indy. “We want to know what already exists here that makes them feel safe and connected, and we also want to know what’s not here that would make them feel safe and connected.”

Reflections
When I get frustrated with my 3-year-old, Lucy, I do the parent thing of saying her full name, Lucy Anne Sikich.
The other day she got frustrated with me, and she returned the favor, but it came out as “Daddy Anne Sikich.”
To be fair, it has a nice ring to it.
