A westside beauty salon is offering free haircuts from experienced apprentice stylists every Tuesday at the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center, at 1920 W. Morris St..

Eight slots for free haircuts are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The apprentices will provide washing, cut and drying services under the supervision of licensed stylists. Services will not include the use of chemicals. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Registrations are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are also accepted.
