The Indiana State Fair is showing appreciation for military families and first responders after severe weather across the state.
Originally set for Aug. 12, the free admission day was cut short when thunderstorms forced the fair to close early.
In the next days, heavy rains caused flooding across Indiana, triggering evacuations and rescues statewide.
Now, the fair rescheduled the day, with a twist. Free admission now runs through the fair’s final day, Aug. 23.
