You can give feedback on redevelopment plans for a former industrial site in the Riverside neighborhood.

A draft plan for redevelopment of the Carrier Bryant site calls for a mix of housing, commercial, light industrial and public spaces. The roughly 19-acre site is a brownfield, meaning the land is contaminated.

The plan includes preservation of a smokestack as a community landmark.

The report also includes information about community engagement, various design possibilities and next steps.

The comment period is open through July 31.

Carrier Bryant was an HVAC manufacturer until 1983. Buildings were vacated in 2004 and have since been demolished.
