Some of your favorite neighborhood celebrities are making their debut on a major streaming platform.

In 2020, LaKesha Lorene and Anthony Murdock launched “Naptown Narratives,” a documentary series that follows and highlights Black residents of Indianapolis.

“Your everyday heroes that may live up the street from you and are making amazing cultural and positive impacts in our community,” she said.

Each hour-long episode is filmed and produced by Lorene’s Loving Life Productions.

Streaming has always been a goal of Lorene. She said it took years to facilitate a partnership with Tubi.

Now Season 4 and 5 are available to stream for free on Tubi, featuring Tasha Marie, founder of the Minority Recovery Collective, Inc., and rapper 4200Kory. The first three seasons are available here

“Naptown Narratives,” chooses their documentary subjects from a pool of applicants who complete a form explaining what they do and why they love the city of Indianapolis.

This year, Loving Life Production is set to release “Naptown Narratives Season 6” about Kayla Coleman, owner of The Glow Spot, a beauty and wellness co-working space. There will be a red-carpet premiere at 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at Alamo Drafthouse.

A ticket bundle includes a “Naptown Narratives” T-shirt.
