Young women ages 14 to 21 can attend a free leadership summit on Oct. 18.

The eastside Indianapolis event includes a panel discussion with women leaders and discussions about mental health, confidence and goals. Attendees can also join an art session and connect with mentors.

The summit is hosted by HOPS Heart of Charity, a nonprofit helping young women build skills and navigate school, careers, relationships and finances. It runs from noon to 4 p.m. at 3039 N. Post Road.
