The Central Indiana Community Foundation is making the busy scholarship application season a little easier on students.

The CICF Collaborative is a partnership of four local foundations and nonprofits that have agreed to offer their scholarship opportunities through a single application.

The application is available in English, Spanish and Burmese and covers more than 50 scholarships students can use to pay for expenses such as tuition and required fees.

Scholarships range in value from $1,000 to full tuition. They can be used to support four-year, two-year and technical programs. However, not all scholarships are alike.

Despite the single application process, some scholarships may carry additional criteria such as financial need or academic accomplishments. You can browse the scholarships available on the CICF Collaborative’s website.

The collaborative awarded $2 million in scholarships to 178 recipients last year. The application for most scholarships included in the collaborative is open now and is expected to close Feb. 1. Students can visit the CICF Collaborative Grants and Scholarships Portal to get started.
