Kids ages 10 and up can learn how to make a movie at the Municipal Gardens Family Center, 1831 Lafayette Road.

The free videomakers class, led by multimedia artist Giselle Trujillo, teaches kids about prop building, script writing, score composition and other skills needed to make a movie.

Kids can jump into the classes any Monday. They will use the skills they learn in the class to produce a movie they will premiere in May.

The class is for kids, but parents are welcome to stay and watch the fun.
