The Indianapolis Public Library will host its second annual Black Health Fair on Oct. 13.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Central Library, people can connect with more than 40 health and wellness vendors. That includes the Damien Center, which will offer information about testing, the Marion County Public Health Department’s resources on diabetes and the Dieudonne Foundation, which helps families with maternal health and accessing doulas.
The goal of the event is to share community resources and have conversations about health in the Black community. It is hosted by the Center for Black Literature & Culture, which is housed at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St.
