Indy families can learn about historically Black colleges and universities in a free event at BELIEVE Circle City High School.
EmpowerED Families, Indiana Black Expo and UNCF are having an informational event Nov. 2 to help families navigate how to apply to HBCUs. It’s open to all families.
The event will provide guidance on how to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, maximize financial aid and apply for scholarships specifically for students hoping to attend an HBCU.
Lunch and refreshments will also be provided along with prizes and giveaways.
The event will be from 1-3 p.m. Nov. 2 at BELIEVE Circle City High School, 2540 N Capitol Ave. Families can attend for free, but should register online to attend.
