Head to the Indianapolis Urban League’s Sam H. Jones Center July 20 for free food and school supplies for kids.

The Back-to-School Block Party will also include music from the Zapp Band, haircuts and health screenings. The event will also have a kids zone with a bounce house and educational activities.

A limited supply of backpacks full of school supplies will also be given out at the event, but a child must be present to receive one.

The Back-to-School Block Party will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Indianapolis Urban League Sam H. Jones Center, 777 Indiana Ave. Admission and parking are free.
