March is Women’s History Month — 31 days to recognize the vital role women have played in American history.

One of those days is dedicated to women from countries throughout the world who have made a difference.

International Women’s Day is typically held on March 8, but hundreds of Indianapolis women from international backgrounds gathered Saturday, March 9, at Indy’s Global Village on the northwest side to celebrate.
