Ivy Tech Community College will give out free books at its Indianapolis and Lawrence book fairs starting Aug. 14.
The events are open to the public, and you do not have to be an Ivy Tech student or employee to attend.

When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 14-16 and Aug. 19-23

- Indianapolis: Julia M. Carson Learning Resource Center, 2725 N. Illinois St.
- Lawrence: 9301 E. 59th St., room F128
Cost: Free
There will be thousands of titles available in a wide variety of genres and subjects, including children’s books.
The book fairs will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays Aug. 14-23. The fair will be closed Aug. 17-18.
At the Indianapolis campus, the book fair will be in the Julia M. Carson Learning Resource Center, 2725 N. Illinois St.
At Ivy Tech’s Lawrence building, 9301 E. 59th St., the book fair will be in room F128.
Though there will be some plastic bags available, Ivy Tech recommends bringing your own bags to carry books home.
