If you’ve been looking for a new job but get overwhelmed at large career fairs, this upcoming event might be for you.

First Baptist Athletics is hosting a community career fair Oct. 29. The organization aims to create a community feel at a smaller event to help people feel less intimidated. 

Twenty-four local employers will be at the event, including water damage removal company Hays and Sons, manufacturer Marian Inc., restaurant group Huse Culinary and Merchants Bank.

The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 29 at First Baptist Athletics’ Denny Barrett Fieldhouse, 8710 N. College Ave.

Attendees should bring multiple copies of their resume.
