Community members are invited to help paint a mural on the near east side.

The John Boner Neighborhood Centers will host a community paint day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 27 for the mural located at 3101 E. 10th St

The mural was designed by local artist Ess McKee. The mural will feature an “I Spy” theme focused on Indianapolis. The goal behind the mural is to engage families waiting at the bus stop located at 10th Street and Gray Street.

The event is open to all ages and no experience is needed. Attendees will help with a paint by number style. Supplies will be provided.
