The Krannert Park Family and Aquatic Center on the city’s west side will reopen Monday, Jan. 22 after a nearly two-year $7 million renovation.

The center was closed in May 2022 to begin work that includes a new indoor pool, an outdoor splash pad, a weight room, indoor track and refurbished restrooms and changing areas.

Indy Parks and Recreation will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the park at 11 a.m. Monday. Programming at the center, like yoga classes and pickleball, also will begin Monday. For more information, check out the center’s Facebook page.

The Krannert Park Family and Aquatic Center is located at 605 S. High School Rd.
