Enjoy live music and local barbecue at Lawrence’s annual BBQ & Blues Festival.

The free festival is 4-8 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Fort Ben Cultural Campus, 8920 Otis Ave.

Music acts include Mississippi Raglips and the Riverdogs, Highway 9 Blues Band and Holeshot Blues.

Vendors and food trucks will sell barbecue, desserts and drinks.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. The event is free and open to the public.
