The Indianapolis Public Library and Indiana Humanities will host a local author fair during Proof: A Midwest Lit Fest.  

The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3 at Herron High School during Proof, an annual literary festival that celebrates regional writing and reading, and local book culture. The one-day festival started in 2023. 

Attendees will get to meet and connect with authors from across Indiana who will showcase and sell their books.  

Authors can apply for one of the 30 free table spaces at the event. The deadline to submit an application is July 29. 

Accepted authors will be notified on or after Sept. 4.
