Anyone who’s ever looked for a job knows the process is difficult and frustrating.
Over the last two years covering higher education and the workforce for Mirror Indy, I’ve heard this directly from Indianapolis residents.
That’s why I’m starting a new text group for Mirror Indy called The Jobs Line. When you sign up, you’ll get weekly texts from me about upcoming job fairs, free and low-cost training opportunities and employment resources.
Text “JOBS” to 317-676-4163 to sign up.
From time to time, I’ll also share stories I’ve worked on about workforce and education programs in Indianapolis.
The best part about this line? You can text me back with suggestions, tips or questions. If I don’t know the answer, I promise to put you in touch with someone who can help.
My goal with this group is to help people feel empowered to seek out opportunities that can lead to a brighter future.
Trying to find a stable, secure job that pays well can feel like an uphill battle — but you’re not in it alone.
Let’s get to work, y’all.
