Finding a job can be difficult, but the Indianapolis Urban League is offering a program that may help.
On April 10, the Urban League will host an information session about its New Beginnings program, a two-week workshop that helps unemployed or underemployed adults learn job readiness skills.
After attending the information session, adults are eligible to attend a 10-day workshop where counselors will share job readiness tips, including help with resumes, interviewing and goal setting.
The next two-week workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays April 14-25. At the end of the two weeks, participants will receive job placement assistance from the Urban League.
