“Hiding just behind the hustle and bustle of I-70 East is the Pogues Run Art and Nature Park. Last year my curiosity finally got the best of me as I dared to explore the waterway.

“Where once laid a stream is now full of wildlife including cranes, plenty of other wild birds, and a snake barely dancing on the water’s surface that I caught a glimpse of on my evening hike this fall. This park, that I previously drove past daily, has become one of my favorite places for mindful walks and meditations.”
