The Alzheimer’s Association invites Indianapolis residents, families and caregivers to a free screening of “Unforgettable,” a film adapted from a stage production that encourages conversations about early detection and diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and the role communities play in awareness, care and support.

The screening will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2026, at the Madam Walker Legacy Center.

Following the screening, attendees can participate in a question-and-answer session featuring experts and community advocates, including:

  • Andrew Saykin, PsyD, director of the Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center
  • Stacie Clay, caregiver and speech-language pathologist
  • Robin Nichols, community advocate with Alz Equity for Indiana
  • Kim Raby, senior event manager at the Madam Walker Legacy Center

Denise Jones Harrington of Alz Equity for Indiana will moderate the discussion. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and engage with the panelists.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Admission is free, but advance registration is required. Reserve a spot through Eventbrite.

Program curators encourage attendees to bring a friend, family member or fellow caregiver to participate in the conversation and help raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease.
