It’s back-to-school season in Warren Township and the far eastside school district has multiple opportunities this week for families to prepare for the start of a new year.

On July 17, the Warren Township Schools district will partner with the Indiana Immunization Coalition to provide an immunization clinic for school-aged children. The clinic will run from 3-6 p.m. at the Moorhead Community Resource Center, 8400 E. 10th St.

Families are asked to pre-register for the event online using the enrollment code IN65942 and location Warren Schools-7/17/24. A list of immunizations required of students for the 2024-25 school year is available online.

On July 18, the Moorhead Community Resource Center will have its third annual Back to School Celebration. The event will provide free backpacks, supplies, food, haircuts and other family fun activities from 5-7 p.m. at the center’s 8400 E. 10th St. location.

More than 40 community resources are expected at the outdoor event presented in partnership with the school district and the Warren Arts and Education Foundation.
