Going to:
The “Tiny XII” exhibition at Gallery 924, where I have a few pieces. The show sells over 500 works from various artists. Each piece is smaller than 6- by 6- by 6 inches and most cost less than $100. The exhibit ends Jan. 4.

Planning to do/see/check out in the month ahead:
For the first time, a group of friends and I are taking a ride in the BYOB Holiday Lights Trolley – Indianapolis, and we are excited — I found some ornament straw drink holders that will be the cherry on top. Also, as part of my participation in IndyHub’s 1828 Cohort, I’ll be venturing into Irvington this month to learn more about the history and neighborhood characteristics that make this area known for its community and business incubating. Oh, and I’ll be anywhere the lights are.
Listening to:
‘Tis the season, so I’m playing some jazz Christmas music and will inevitably get into some hip-hop and trap Christmas music mixes. Since my husband and I just got married, we’ve also been replaying our curated playlists from different parts of our big day. (Shamelessly? Maybe.)
Reading or watching:
“The Collected Regrets of Clover” by Mikki Brammer is a book I got from the Maven Space Book Swap this year, and it truly came at a time when I didn’t realize I would need such a book. I am forever rewatching different bits of “Bridgerton” and am thoroughly excited to begin Season 6 of “The Crown.”
Cooking or creating:
Filipino foods! It’s getting chilly, so it’s time for pork adobo, arroz caldo and sinigang in our home. We’ve also been ordering (both for ourselves and friends) from Send a Friend Lasagna. The owner, Stephanie Daily, knows what the heck she is doing in the kitchen.
