Ivy Tech Community College will have an event for prospective Latino students and their families Oct. 12 at its Indianapolis campus. 

At the event, a panel of Latino students will speak about their experiences at Ivy Tech. 

Prospective students will also be able to take a tour of the campus and visit some of Ivy Tech’s nursing and automotive simulation labs.

There will also be free food and music. Students are welcome to bring their families, and there will be activities for kids who attend.

The event will be in rooms 101 and 102 of Ivy Tech’s Illinois Fall Creek Center at 2535 N. Capitol Ave.

Activities will run from noon to 4 p.m.
