Enjoy a free movie outside this summer with Films at the Fort in Lawrence.

In partnership with Heartland Film, the city will host two free movie nights at the Fort Ben Cultural Campus, 8950 Otis Ave.

“Despicable Me” will play at 7 p.m. May 29. “Hitch” will be shown at 7 p.m. Aug. 28.

Food trucks will open at 6 p.m. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. If there is inclement weather, the event will be moved inside to the Heartland Film headquarters, located at the same address as the cultural campus.

Tickets are not required, but registration is encouraged. More information can be found online.
