Beech Grove residents can snuggle up for free movies and snacks throughout the fall.

The Movies by the Bonfire event will provide attendees with free popcorn and s’mores. There will also be additional meals for $5.

Start times will vary based on the sunset. The remaining September showing is scheduled to begin around 7:30 p.m., and October movies will start around 6:30 p.m. But community members are encouraged to check online for any updates.

Movies by the Bonfire will be held outdoors on Fridays at the Hornet Park Community Center, 5245 Hornet Ave.

  • Sept. 19: “The Goonies”
  • Oct. 3: “Matilda”
  • Oct. 17: “The Nightmare Before Christmas”
  • Oct. 31: “Hocus Pocus”
