Eastside families can celebrate the new school year at Edna Martin Christian Center’s back-to-school festival. 

The free event will be from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Edna Martin Christian Center Leadership and Legacy Campus, 2259 N. Ralston Ave. 

Families can receive free school supplies and connect with community resources. The festival will also feature games, food and music.
