Indianapolis residents affected by the August floods can get help with damaged property permits at several upcoming clinics. 

The Department of Business and Neighborhood Services will host three clinics at the Washington Township Government Center, 5302 N. Keystone Ave. The clinics will be: 

📆 4-7 p.m. Oct. 7

📆 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 10

📆 4-7 p.m. Oct. 14  

Department of Business and Neighborhood Services staff will be available to answer questions about flood and building permits. Residents can also get help applying for permits. Representatives from Pro Bono Indiana, Inc. will be at the clinics to answer legal questions related to flood recovery. 

Department of Business and Neighborhood Services will also provide walk-in assistance related to flood permits in the department’s lobby at the City-County Building, 200 E. Washington St. Suite 107. The walk-in assistance will be: 


📆 9 a.m. to noon Oct.7

📆 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 9

📆 8:30-11:30 a.m. Oct. 14

📆 9 a.m. to noon Oct.16

City officials have extended the suspension of all permit fees for eligible flood damaged properties through Oct. 13. The fee suspension is eligible for permits submitted on or after Aug. 14.
