The Wayne Township Trustee’s Office and the nonprofit organization Veterans Resource Team will hold a free resource fair for veterans July 24.

The free fair will teach veterans about the types of benefits they are eligible to receive, such as educational benefits through the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Veterans Affairs home loans, life insurance and new health benefits available through the Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2022, known as the PACT Act.

The fair will feature guest speakers Joe Murphy, who is a retired Navy master chief petty officer hospital corpsman, and Kris Bertrand-Glomski, who is a Navy veteran and veteran service officer for the Indianapolis Office of Veterans Services. Free food will also be provided.

The event is free, but seating is limited, so registration is recommended.

If you go

The fair will be 6 p.m. July 24 at the Wayne Township Government Center, 5401 W. Washington St. Registration is available online
