Indy Pride is offering two free preparation sessions ahead of its career fair Jan. 16.
The sessions will be noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 11 and 12 at 10 East Arts Hub, 3137 E. 10th St. Anyone 16 and older is welcome to attend.
At the workshop, staff will be available to help edit resumes and practice interviewing. Attendees can also get a professional headshot taken, get business and formal clothes from a clothing swap and even have outfits tailored on-site.
Indy Pride’s Jan. 16 career fair is free and open to all, prioritizing employers who care about diversity and inclusion. There will be Spanish-speaking and ASL interpreters on-site.
Employers at the fair will include Cook Medical, the city of Indianapolis, the Transportation Security Administration and IBEW 481, the local electrical union, per Facebook.
