Let your child learn about cultures from around the world and their influences on American life — all without leaving Indianapolis.
The Global Explorers Program will teach camp participants about the diverse cultures in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and Oceania from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in daily sessions at Indy’s Global Village, 4233 Lafayette Road. Participants will have the chance to taste new foods, create art using traditional techniques, learn about different languages and take part in cultural activities.
The program will be held in weeklong sessions broken up by age groups:
- July 7-11 (Ages 8-10)
- July 14-18 (Ages 8-10)
- July 21-25 (Ages 11-13)
- July 28 to August 1 (Ages 11-13)
The program costs $50 per week per student. To register, head to the program’s online registration site.
