UPDATE: The event has been moved to the community center building at Lawrence Community Park, 5301 N. Franklin Road. Kickball games have been canceled.

Prepare for the new school year at the Back-to-School Celebration in Lawrence. 

The free event is noon to 2 p.m. July 20 in the community center at Lawrence Community Park, 5301 N. Franklin Road.

Students can receive free backpacks and other school supplies. There will also be free food, a student fashion show and kickball. Kickball registration can be completed online. 

The first day of school in Lawrence Township is Aug. 6.
