Lawrence is offering free groceries to make Thanksgiving easier for families.

Each household will receive a bag of groceries with the food needed to create a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

The groceries are limited to the first 300 registered families. The food will be available for pickup 4-6 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Lawrence Community Center, 5301 N. Franklin Road.

Registration can be completed online. More information can be found on the city’s website.
