Purdue University will host a free online Medicare 101 seminar Oct. 4 to provide help on how to enroll in federal health insurance.

Generally, people 65 and older qualify for Medicare.

Cheryl St. Clair, program director with the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, will answer questions about Medicare plan options, enrollment and benefits.

Medicare open enrollment is Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.

The seminar will be on Zoom at 9 a.m. Oct. 4.

People interested in attending the seminar should register online.
