The Elevance Health Rink at Morris Bicentennial Plaza will open for its fourth season Nov. 18 in downtown Indianapolis, bringing back public skating, special events and holiday activities.

General admission tickets are on sale now. Admission costs $15, and skate rentals cost $4. A ticket includes all-day access on the date of the visit, so guests can skate as long as they like during operating hours.

“We’re excited to offer another season of ice skating, special events and holiday fun for families and friends,” Pacers Sports & Entertainment Executive Vice President and Chief Venues Officer Andy Arnold said. “We look forward to welcoming guests to Morris Bicentennial Plaza all winter long.”

Indiana Pacers fans can show a game-day ticket to get a free skate rental on the day of the game. Rink admission is still required.

The rink will host several events during the season:

  • Opening Night, Nov. 18: The rink will be open from 3 to 9 p.m.
  • Lights on the Ice, Nov. 27: Guests can see holiday lights from 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Santa and Mrs. Claus visits, Dec. 21-23: Guests can meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and their reindeer.
  • World Basketball Day, Dec. 21: The event will include mascot appearances and fan giveaways from 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Cosmic Skate, Dec. 26: Families can attend a glow skate night from 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Community Skate on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 18: The rink will offer free skating in celebration of the holiday.

The rink will be open to the public Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m., Friday from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Hours are subject to change.

Guests can have personal skates sharpened for $10 per pair and rent skate aids for $10 per 30 minutes. Both services are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Private rink rentals are available Monday through Thursday throughout the season.
