If you want to volunteer in Indy but don’t know where to start, this new site can help.

United Way of Central Indiana recently started a website called Volunpair, a hub for volunteer opportunities in Indianapolis. The site lists upcoming events and volunteer availability at Indy nonprofits and will help aspiring volunteers find opportunities they’re interested in.

To use Volunpair, you’ll have to create a free account. Once you’re in, you can explore volunteer opportunities by type of work, time commitment and schedule. If you find something you’re interested in, you can sign up directly on the site.

There are opportunities all around Marion County, including tutoring, mentoring, working in a food bank, helping in animal shelters and neighborhood cleanups. You can also browse a calendar with upcoming events.

Not sure where to start? Take a survey to get matched with volunteer opportunities that align with what you’re interested in.
