Warren Central students can learn about how to make college more affordable during an upcoming career fair.

The Warren Central High School College and Career Fair will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the school, 9500 E. 16th Street.

The event coincides with College GO! Week — an annual initiative in Indiana designed to get teens thinking about college applications.

Some colleges, like IU Indianapolis, even waive application fees during the week.

Warren Central is inviting its students to visit the school’s new Journey of a Graduate Center, which connects students to financial aid opportunities and college counseling.

Students will also be able to check out the district’s new mobile college and career center bus. And, representatives from INvestED will give a presentation on how to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

There will also be resources for students considering going into the military or directly into the workforce after high school.
