Lawrence seniors and veterans are invited to the Lawrence Thanksgiving Celebration. 

The free event is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Lawrence Community Center, 5301 N. Franklin Road. 

The celebration is for veterans and community members 60 years old and up. Guests can enjoy a free meal, listen to live entertainment and connect with neighbors.

Spouses, caretakers and immediate family members are also welcome. Space is limited and registration can be completed online. 

Mirror Indy, a nonprofit newsroom, is funded through grants and donations from individuals, foundations and organizations.
