If you’ve been putting off filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, this upcoming event could be the time to get it done.
College Goal Sunday, a statewide FAFSA filing help event, will be held 2-4 p.m. Nov. 9.
Schools and organizations across the state will have experts available to help students and parents fill out the FAFSA. High school seniors are required to submit the FAFSA or opt out by April 15.
The events are free and no prior registration is required.

Students and families can get FAFSA help 2-4 p.m. Nov. 9 at these Indy schools and organizations:
- Arsenal Technical High School computer lab: 1500 E. Michigan St.
- Beech Grove High School: 5330 Hornet Ave.
- Center for Leadership Development college prep lab: 2425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St.
- George Washington High School: 2215 W. Washington St. Enter through Door 1.Â
- Ivy Tech Community College North Meridian Center: 50 W. Fall Creek Parkway N. DriveÂ
- Lawrence North High School: 7802 Hague Road
Students and parents or guardians should be sure to create a federal student aid account beforehand, because the approval process can take several days.
To complete the form, make sure to have your Social Security number or immigrant registration number on hand, as well as 2024 tax return information, records of child support received and any other income or assets such as real estate investments.
